More clay embellishments

I came across a set of punch moulds yesterday in TK Max in the cake making section.
I was so excited to see how these would work with my clay.
As you can see above, perfectly!!
I will spray the snowflakes with sparkle spray before I use on my card.
The numbers and stars I will colour to suit the card I am making using my promarkers.
The roses might or might not be coloured.

Here is a card I used some snowflakes on

Silicone moulds

I picked up some very cheap silicone moulds at Discount Stores and wasn't sure if they would work with my clay but they did. I have already used some of the little bows on my cards.
The wording is from a Katy Sue Mould, was a bit fiddly but worth the effort.

Here is one of the cards  where I used the clay stars and roses.

Christening rose

I made this little Christening Table card to hold information about a baby's Christening dates and godparents for a friend and finished it off with one of my little clay roses and leaves.
Very pleased with the look it gave.
Need to make more flowers though as my clay has been neglected.
But I did get some new moulds for letters and numbers so watch this space.

Air-dry clay roses!

I recently treated myself to this set of fmm cutters and vein mats.

I also purchased some white clay, blue clay and green clay.
And this is what I came up with.
My first first clay roses and leaves in pink
I mixed some red distress ink into white clay until I was happy with the colour.
Each one looks a bit different as with practice I was getting the hang of it better lol.

My next batch I mixed some blue clay into the white but used a wee bit too much, hence the deep blue colour lol. Again I couldn't resist using the left overs, mixed with some more white clay to make blue leaves.

Here is a close up of the veins on the leaves and the large rose.

And here is how I used some of those blue flowers!

I will post a finished project with these so you can see how they look on a card.

Wedding Day gift wallet

Finally getting a chance to share one of my recent foam flower makes.
This is a gift wallet for my Son's wedding from his Granny.
I went with orange as he lives in Co. Armagh, so that's their colours. The flower is made using white foamarian and I delicately coloured with orange distress inks.
The stamen are  a mix of gold and white and the leaves are paper.
I used a LOTV stamp, coloured with promarkers.

Foamiran Confirmation card

Haven't had much time for posting or making flowers recently but hopefully that will change soon.
I did made this Confirmation card though.
The flowers were made from white silk foamarin and Rosy Owl heart flower dies.
I coloured them with Gelatoes.
The leaves are also cut from green foam using a leaf die from The Works
The  rest of the dies are from Spellbinders.
I added large pearls to the flowers.

Mellow yellow!

Top 3

I decided to decorate a little gift box up using a few foamiran flowers.
The large flower was made using white foamiran, yellow stamen, yellow distress ink and rosy dot AC1 dies from Foamiran Ireland.

The two smaller roses where made using the rosy dot heart flowers die from Scrap and Craft. I used yellow foamiran. This is my first time making the roses and as you can see my very first one is on the right. I did not cover the tin foil enough so that was a learning curve but look at the second. I am very pleased with it.
Leaves are from  Wild Orchard Crafts.

Papers used are from We R Memory Keepers

Silk foam flowers

I had a card to make so had a quick play with the silk foam. Wow! I don't think I'll be ordering the foamiran anymore. I am sold on the silk. It's so soft and easy to work with. Rolls and twists perfectly, colours perfectly and doesn't rip as easily! What's not to like....well the price I suppose. It's twice the price of a sheet of foamiran but worth it for special projects.
I cut these with the Heart Flower Rosy Dot dies. I should have added another layer but didn't.
They have been coloured using distress inks, and finished with white stamen.
The card is a new shape for me, think its for the z fold and I really like it.
The papers are from Nitwits.

Heart for a Mum

Winners Badge

Whoops! I did it again......
My resistance is low when it comes to making foamiran flowers and these cute little plaques!

This time I decorated the back with this lovely image from Teddy Bo & Co
It will be available there from this afternoon hopefully!
I coloured her with promarkers, which was tricky as I had to print her directly onto the yellow paper but I am very happy with the finished result.

Flowers were cut from white Foamiran using my  Rosy Dot Dies and coloured using distress inks.

I heated them up and rolled once together and then kept twisting them. For at least 30 twists each. I did the original ones by rolling lots first then a bit of twisting but I like the look of the finished ones.

I accidently ripped one during the stretching procedure but I used it anyway. The heat glue gun saves all my sins lol.

Items used:
White Foamiran, distress inks, stamen, heat gun, glue gun
Leaves are from Wild Orchid Crafts
